This course equips pre-service teachers with specialized knowledge and skills in digital illustration using drawing tools and basic animation techniques, aligned with the Philippine TVET Trainers-Assessors Qualifications Framework (PTTQF) and the BTLEd program goals. It focuses on developing competencies to teach Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) exploratory courses for Grades 4-8, emphasizing ICT integration for facilitating learning in diverse environments. Students will explore software tools (e.g., free/open-source alternatives like Inkscape or GIMP for illustration, and Blender or Synfig for animation) to create visual content, while applying pedagogical strategies to design age-appropriate lessons. The course promotes outcomes-based education, fostering critical thinking, ethical use of technology, and reflective teaching practices to prepare graduates as competent TLE teachers, trainers, and assessors.
